That being said, it really did open my eyes to how you need to build your team accordingly for the boss' mechanics. I finally killed her but I felt the game was robbing me of every sense of accomplishment.

And then my Vestal was brought on DD and died before having a single chance because the Hag went twice in a row (end of turn and begininng of turn). She consistently took my Vestal or Arbalest, my Crusader consistently did minimal damage, she dodged the BH's bleeds like crazy and she crit healed herself THREE times. I went in with Crusader, Vestal, BH and Arbalest (not the best comp I know) and I had thought that Crusader would be able to wreck the pot in 2 turns or 1 with the BH. Especially since she can heal herself, killing her as fast as possible is important. Straight damage is always better than DoT when a boss has no prot. Depending on your overall group speed, that may not even be a problem for anyone else if the Vestel is free and in a healing spot. Be prepared for healer to be grabbed as well, in which case they'll come out of the pot up-front on DD and won't be able to heal themselves if you leave her in there - though in such cases, all your damage are free to decide between nuking Hag or busting the pot for the Vestel's sake. You'll need guaranteed heals to stave off DD's if going for the rush strat - and the AoE heal is always decent against tenderize, so don't risk the likes of Occu or Arbs (as solo healers, that is).

I take bleeders and just pump her full of DoT's and watch her melt herself, so long as at least one person continues to stack it. Publicado originalmente por RopeDrink:In all honesty, I don't treat her any differently than I do the other two level varients.
